In a strategic move to enhance connectivity between Vietnam and India, VietJet Air has announced the addition of two new routes to its India network. Starting in March 2025, the airline will commence services connecting Ho Chi Minh City to Bangalore and Hyderabad. The expansion reflects VietJet Air’s continued commitment to strengthening its presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing aviation markets.

The new routes will provide increased travel options for business and leisure travelers, further fostering tourism and economic ties between the two countries. Details of the new services include the following:

Ho Chi Minh City – Bangalore

Flight VJ1801 will depart Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) at 19:20, arriving in Bangalore (BLR) at 22:30 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
The return flight, VJ1802, will leave Bangalore at 23:30, arriving back in Ho Chi Minh City at 06:00 the following day.

These additions will make VietJet Air one of the key players in the growing travel corridor between Vietnam and India. With its affordable fares and convenient schedules, the airline aims to cater to the rising demand for travel in this region. By connecting Ho Chi Minh City to Bangalore and Hyderabad, VietJet Air is poised to attract a broader spectrum of travelers, including tourists exploring Vietnam’s cultural richness and Indian cities’ dynamic energy.

The airline’s continued focus on network growth aligns with India’s expanding role in global aviation. Vietnam has emerged as a popular destination for Indian travelers due to its rich history, natural beauty, and competitive travel costs. Similarly, the growing economic significance of Bangalore and Hyderabad ensures strong demand for connectivity to Vietnam, particularly for trade and technology sectors.

VietJet Air has been proactive in building its brand as a leading low-cost carrier in Asia. Its recent focus on expanding into India underscores its strategy to tap into high-potential markets with burgeoning middle-class populations and a growing appetite for international travel.

With the upcoming launch of these new routes, VietJet Air is set to bridge the gap between two culturally and economically vibrant regions, offering a convenient travel solution to meet the needs of modern global travelers. These services are expected to significantly boost tourism and business opportunities, further cementing the ties between Vietnam and India.
