Cunard made history today as Queen Anne arrived in Miami for her maiden call, marking her second North American stop since launching in May 2024. This milestone sets the stage for another historic moment when Queen Elizabeth begins her first full-season deployment in Miami, starting October 16, with voyages to the Caribbean—a first in Cunard’s 185-year legacy.

The special day was highlighted by a dazzling performance from two-time Tony® Award winner Sutton Foster in Queen Anne’s Royal Court Theatre. Foster will return as part of a special engagement during Queen Elizabeth’s Caribbean season, alongside other Broadway stars. Details of her exclusive voyage will be announced soon.

“It was a true honor to perform on board Queen Anne during her first visit to Miami,” said Sutton Foster. “I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to sail and perform on board Queen Elizabeth during the ship’s first Caribbean season. It’s gratifying to see Cunard’s dedication for the performing arts, bringing their guests truly special entertainment experiences and I’m delighted to have asked to be a part of that.”

Cunard enthusiasts eager to sail to the Caribbean from Miami will find exciting offerings when Queen Elizabeth debuts next October. The 2,000-guest ship will undergo a comprehensive refit from February 25 to March 13, 2025, at Seatrium’s Admiralty Yard in Singapore, preparing her for a 12-night roundtrip inaugural voyage from Miami to the Caribbean. Destinations include Bridgetown’s UNESCO-listed Garrison and the vibrant markets of Castries, St. Lucia.

Queen Elizabeth’s Caribbean program will feature roundtrip itineraries ranging from 9 to 28 nights, offering idyllic escapes to iconic destinations such as Montego Bay in Jamaica, San Juan in Puerto Rico, and St. John’s in Antigua. Guests can look forward to a transformed ship with refreshed interiors and exteriors, including signature spaces like the Commodore Club, Queens Room, Panorama Pool Club, Garden Lounge, and The Pavilion, all designed to blend tranquility with vibrant oceanic views.

In addition to these enhancements, Queen Elizabeth will introduce the wellness-focused Pavilion café, first debuted on Queen Anne, serving plant-based dishes alongside sustainably sourced meat, fish, and dairy. Guests can also enjoy the Harper’s Bazaar Wellness at Sea program, offering tailored three-day spa packages focused on relaxation, energy restoration, or recovery.

Cunard’s renowned culinary excellence will also shine with an exciting new celebrity chef partnership, exclusively crafted for Queen Elizabeth’s Caribbean season. Further details about this collaboration will be revealed soon, adding to the allure of Cunard’s latest chapter in Miami and beyond.

“We were incredibly proud to be in Miami today to celebrate our new ship Queen Anne during her North America debut,” said Katie McAlister, President of Cunard. “We are equally excited to call Miami home when Queen Elizabeth begins her Caribbean season from this vibrant city later this year. We’re honored and excited to bring guests our signature White Star Service, and compelling entertainment, wellness, and culinary offerings to their Caribbean voyage experience.”
