International Travel Fair

The 30th Thai International Travel Fair, marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Thailand, kicked off on January 16 at Bangkok’s Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), with China being honored as the guest country.

In light of China’s easing of its visa-free transit policy, Zhejiang Province’s tourism industry has seen impressive growth, with projections indicating a threefold increase in Southeast Asian visitors in 2024 compared to the previous year. The province’s active participation in this significant B2B tourism event is playing a pivotal role in showcasing its cultural tourism and boosting its global visibility.

At the exhibition, Zhejiang showcased an impressive array of dynamic presentations and hands-on displays under its “Hello, China” theme. The booth featured in-depth tourism maps, a wealth of promotional resources, and comprehensive guides, all accompanied by carefully crafted cultural souvenirs that offered visitors a sneak peek into the region’s vibrant cultural legacy and distinct charm.

Moreover, Zhejiang’s cultural and tourism ambassadors captivated the audience with a presentation titled “Picturesque Jiangnan.” They spotlighted two captivating travel routes: the “Elegant Tour of Jiangnan” and the “Mountain-Sea Scenic Exploration Tour.” These routes seamlessly blend the province’s breathtaking natural scenery with its deep cultural history, sparking significant interest among Thai tourists eager to explore the area.
