Embrace the holiday magic this winter season as Hong Kong transforms into a captivating Christmas Town! From November 22, 2024, to January 1, 2025, the Hong Kong Tourism Board invites everyone to experience a spectacular celebration of festive joy and lights during the annual Hong Kong WinterFest. This year’s event promises to be extraordinary with a sprawling 10,000-square-foot Christmas Town designed around a delightful gifts theme, creating the perfect backdrop for memorable photos.
Imagine a towering, 20-meter-high Christmas tree, adorned in festive red and gold, lighting up the Hong Kong skyline. For the first time, this colossal tree will turn into a breathtaking canvas each evening, projecting vibrant light shows that echo the festive season’s joy and spirit throughout the city.
The festivities don’t stop there. Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour will host four dazzling Winter Harbourfront Pyrotechnics displays, adding sparkle to the city’s nightscape. Three of these grand displays are set to enhance the Christmas holiday, culminating in an awe-inspiring New Year countdown complete with a musical fireworks display. What better place to usher in 2025 than Hong Kong, Asia’s hub of holiday cheer?
As part of the WinterFest, the West Kowloon Cultural District will introduce a festive Christmas Market from November 22 to December 29, 2024. Located at Harbourside Lawn East and the Harbourside Deck outside M+, the market will feature an exciting selection of international foods and exclusive Christmas gifts, enhancing the festive atmosphere.
Moreover, Christmas Town will include an enchanting Festive Light Tunnel for the first time, along with gift-bearing gnomes, a gift-laden train display, and various decorative Christmas trees. Don’t miss the chance to meet Santa Claus himself and catch the lively gnomes and Hong Kong’s iconic pandas in festive attire.
This year’s Hong Kong WinterFest not only lights up the city but also promises to deliver joy, gifts, and unforgettable holiday experiences to all its visitors.
