Keadeen Hotel
celebrates community ties

Keadeen Hotel celebrates community ties and unveils ambitious plans for modernization and growth, strengthening its legacy as a cornerstone of local hospitality.

The Keadeen Hotel’s deep-rooted connection to the local community and its family heritage took center stage during a recent event hosted by its owners, Matthew O’Callaghan and Denis Williams. The gathering welcomed a diverse group of local residents and notable public figures, emphasizing the hotel’s integral role in the region. Among the attendees were prominent individuals, including local representatives, showcasing a shared commitment to regional development and collaboration.

During the event, the O’Callaghan family unveiled bold plans for the hotel’s future, announcing significant investments aimed at elevating its facilities. These initiatives include modernizing current amenities, upgrading the leisure center, and expanding accommodations by adding new bedrooms. This strategic expansion is designed to enhance the guest experience, attract more visitors, and stimulate the local economy while preserving the Keadeen Hotel’s standing as a pillar of community engagement.

The Keadeen Hotel, acquired by the O’Callaghan family last July, reflects their seasoned expertise in the hospitality industry. The family also owns The Fairways Hotel and The Gateway Hotel in Dundalk, further cementing their reputation as leaders in the field.

To lead this new chapter, the family appointed Michael Masterson, a seasoned hotelier and Kildare native, as the new general manager. His local insights and industry experience position him to spearhead the hotel’s evolution while maintaining its cherished community focus.

This event not only celebrated the Keadeen Hotel’s legacy but also marked the beginning of an exciting journey toward innovation and regional growth, ensuring its place as a cornerstone of hospitality for generations to come.
