Marriott International, Inc. in collaboration with SAMHI Hotels Limited, has revealed plans for the launch of three new properties in India, totaling over 568 rooms. These projects, undertaken with SAMHI Hotels—a prominent player in hotel ownership and asset management in India—include the W Hyderabad Hitec City, Bengaluru Whitefield, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, and The Westin Bengaluru Whitefield. Targeted for completion between 2026 and 2028, these developments aim to become key destinations for discerning travelers and local residents alike, enhancing Marriott’s presence in India.

W Hyderabad Hitec City
Situated in Hyderabad’s largest office district, Hitec City, this hotel introduces the W Hotels brand to the city for the first time. Expected to open its doors in 2026, the W Hyderabad Hitec City will offer 190 elegantly designed guestrooms and suites. The hotel is set to provide a diverse range of dining experiences, including a full-service restaurant, a poolside bar, a dynamic specialty restaurant, a patisserie, and the W brand’s unique take on the traditional hotel lobby, known as the Living Room. Additionally, the property will boast over 950 square meters of state-of-the-art event space, a modern fitness center, and a spa designed for relaxation and wellness. Guests will also enjoy the W brand’s Whatever/Whenever® service, ensuring personalized attention around the clock.

Bengaluru Whitefield, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel
Projected to open in 2026, this hotel will feature 142 tranquil guestrooms and suites, incorporating both indoor and outdoor living elements. Dining options will include an all-day dining venue, a specialty restaurant, and a Lobby Lounge, each offering innovative culinary delights that showcase local flavors. The hotel will also offer a swimming pool, fitness center, spa, and 792 square meters of flexible meeting and event spaces.

The Westin Bengaluru Whitefield
Scheduled for a 2028 opening, this hotel is expected to include 236 luxurious rooms and suites. The Westin Bengaluru Whitefield plans to offer four dining options, a WestinWORKOUT® Fitness studio, the brand’s renowned Heavenly Spa, a rooftop swimming pool, and 1380 square meters of adaptable meeting and event spaces with abundant natural light and advanced technology. This hotel is set to embody the brand’s commitment to enhancing guest wellness, providing a sanctuary for travelers.

Currently, Marriott operates 17 distinct brands under the Marriott Bonvoy® umbrella in India, ranging from ultra-luxurious to select service offerings, each catering to various segments of travelers. These brands include St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton, and JW Marriott in the luxury category; Marriott Hotels and Sheraton in the premium sector; and Courtyard by Marriott and Fairfield by Marriott in the select service category, among others.
