Southwest Airlines has announced an extension of its flight schedule through June 4, 2025, allowing customers to book flights through the Memorial Day weekend. This schedule expansion reflects the airline’s commitment to enhancing its service offerings, particularly with significant growth in Nashville and more redeye flights from Hawaii.

Expanding in Nashville

Following the recent opening of its newest Flight Crew base in Nashville, Tennessee, on May 1, Southwest Airlines is set to increase its service in the city. This includes more flight frequencies and the introduction of new routes, marking a significant investment in the area. For the first time, Southwest will also offer intra-Tennessee flights, connecting more local destinations.

Starting April 8, 2025, Southwest will add new flights between Nashville and the following cities:

Albuquerque, NM

Albany, NY

Jackson, MS

Memphis, TN

Providence, RI

Tulsa, OK

These new routes will bring Southwest’s presence in Nashville to its highest level ever, with 174 Sunday departures scheduled in April and May 2025.

Redeye Flights from Hawaii to the Mainland

In addition to the Nashville expansion, Southwest is also increasing its redeye flight offerings from Hawaii to the U.S. mainland. Beginning April 8, 2025, five new redeye services will connect Hawaiian airports to major destinations in the U.S., making travel to the mainland even more convenient.

Daily redeye service will be available from:

Honolulu to Las Vegas

Honolulu to Phoenix

Kona (Hawaii Island) to Las Vegas

Kahului (Maui) to Las Vegas

Kahului (Maui) to Phoenix

These new flights are part of Southwest’s continued effort to improve connectivity for travelers between the Hawaiian Islands and numerous destinations across the mainland.
