Emirates is set to launch its revamped Boeing 777s on six routes across the United States, offering an upgraded travel experience across all cabins. The newly designed aircraft will showcase the airline’s latest Business Class seats and the highly sought-after Premium Economy.

Starting next month and continuing through early 2025, the retrofitted Boeing 777s will begin service on direct flights to Chicago, Boston, Dallas Fort Worth, and Seattle. Additionally, routes to Miami via Bogotá and to Newark through Athens will feature the refreshed aircraft, equipped with Emirates’ four-class cabin layout and signature amenities.

Route Details and Launch Schedule:

Chicago: The updated Boeing 777 will operate on EK 235 and EK 236 three times weekly from November 1, 2024, increasing to daily service starting November 22, 2024.

Boston: From December 10, 2024, EK 237 and EK 238 will feature the retrofitted Boeing 777 three times a week, expanding to daily flights from December 18.

Dallas Fort Worth: The enhanced Boeing 777 will serve EK 221 and EK 222 three times weekly beginning January 9, 2025, with daily service starting January 15.

Seattle: The new four-class configuration, including Premium Economy, will debut on EK 229 and EK 230 starting January 24, 2025.

Newark/Athens: Daily flights on EK 209 and EK 210 featuring the refurbished Boeing 777 will commence on February 10, 2025.

Miami/Bogotá: The new Premium Economy-equipped Boeing 777 will be introduced on EK 213 and EK 214 from February 19, 2025, with four weekly flights, increasing to daily from March 1, 2025.

By February 2025, ten out of Emirates’ twelve US gateways will offer the Premium Economy experience, as will two cities in Latin America, with Bogotá joining São Paulo. This expansion will bring Emirates’ renowned Premium Economy to 12 destinations across its 19-city network in the Americas, served by a combination of Boeing 777 and A380 aircraft. The upgraded Boeing 777s also feature the new Emirates Business Class, arranged in a 1-2-1 layout, providing more privacy and amenities like fully flat beds and personal mini-bars.

Globally, the rollout of Emirates’ refreshed aircraft with four-class configurations will bring Premium Economy to 27 cities, including Dubai, by the end of 2024. A total of 48 Boeing 777, A380, and A350 aircraft will be utilized for these routes. In addition to the US and Latin American destinations, passengers can already experience the refurbished Boeing 777s on routes to Geneva, Tokyo Haneda, and Brussels. Zurich and Riyadh will follow next month.

This extensive rollout allows US travelers to experience the luxury and comfort of Premium Economy beyond Dubai, with onward connections to destinations such as Mumbai, Bangalore, and Singapore. Moreover, travelers heading to United Airlines’ hubs in Chicago, Houston, and San Francisco can enjoy Emirates’ Premium Economy before connecting to a wide range of domestic and international destinations across the US, Canada, and Latin America.

The updated Boeing 777s feature six or eight First Class suites, 38 or 40 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 arrangement, 24 Premium Economy seats, and 256 Economy Class seats. The refreshed interiors boast a blend of sophisticated designs and new color palettes, with enhancements in the carpeting, wall panels, and wood finishes, providing a modern and elegant atmosphere for all passengers.
